After the reactivation of the entertainment industry in the country, the Dominican stages have not stopped lighting up with the presentation of great national and international music stars.
This 2022 has been the year of the shows, accumulating in its concert line-up more than 15 presentations so far. In the month of July alone, there are about seven multitudinous musical events on the agenda.
The variety of concerts scheduled for the middle of the year in the Dominican capital includes local and foreign artists and groups such as El Alfa, Wisin y Yandel, Diego el Cigala, Luis Fonsi y Reik, Sobre Dosis de Soda y Pavel Núñez, Maridalia Hernández, Vega Pasión y San Basilio Paloma, Wisin y Yandel, Diego el Cigala and Reik.
Wisin y Yandel
The Puerto Rican duo of Wisin y Yandel will perform next July 9 in Santo Domingo as part of their farewell tour “La última misión”, the artists reported on their Instagram page.
The reguetoneros’ performance is scheduled to be held at the Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal.
Through UepaTickets on Wednesday morning, the ticket prices to witness the show are already known, with RD$3,110 being the cost of tickets for the bleachers, RD$4,520 in General Standing, RD$6,780 in VIP, RD$8,475 in Special Guest, RD$22,600 in Front Stage and RD$33,845 for the Premium Fan area, these values include taxes.
El Alfa
Urban artist El Alfa announced his concert “La leyenda del dembow” at the Estadio Olímpico, Félix Sánchez, on Saturday, 16 July.
On the same day of the announcement tickets went on sale ranging from: Special Guest: RD$14,000, RD$12,000 RD$8,000, RD$6,000, RD$4,000, VIP: RD$2,500, Ground: RD$1,400 and Bleachers: RD$900.
Diego el Cigala
The contemporary flamenco singer-songwriter Diego El Cigala will arrive on Dominican soil on Friday, May 21, presenting his new show “Todo lo que tengo”.
Tickets are already on sale at Uepa Tickets with prices ranging from RD$7,415 for the balconies of the National Theater and RD$8,475 for the pits.
Luis Fonsi and Reik
Puerto Rican singer-songwriter Luis Fonsi and Mexican trio Reik will perform at the Palacio de los Deportes in Santo Domingo on 23 July, together for the first time.
Tickets are on sale at Uepa Tickets and Supermercados Nacional and Jumbo for the following amounts: bleachers $2,800; stalls, $4,300; VIP, $7,500; special guest, $12,000; front stage, $24,000.
Pavel Núñez
The Dominican singer-songwriter will perform next Saturday, July 30 in the city of Jarabacoa, in a show that the organizers have titled “A hill of songs for dad”, as fathers are celebrated in the country on that day.
Tickets are on sale at the official website of UepaTickets from RD$2,165 to RD$2,710.
Maridalia Hernández, Vega Pasión and San Basilio Paloma
On the 22nd and 23rd of this month, “Un espectáculo irrepetible, tres divas de la canción” with artists Maridalia Hernández, Vega Pasión and San Basilio Paloma arrives at the Teatro Nacional.
The event is under the direction of César Suárez and tickets range from RD$7,945 to RD$9,005.
As well as the aforementioned artists, Puerto Rican salsa singer Gilberto Santa Rosa was also included in this list as he was to perform this Saturday, 16 July at the Palacio de los Deportes. However, a few days ago the organizers of the event announced the cancellation of the concert.
