Ron Don Miguel SRL introduces to the market its ultra premium product Don Miguel Homenaje, presenting highly innovative elements together with the family tradition that characterizes them in the production of rums of superlative quality in the Dominican Republic.
Ron Don Miguel Homenaje is a tribute to the best Dominican rum maker in our history and pioneer in the massive internationalization of Dominican rum in the world, Miguel Barceló Pascual, taking one of his most prized family formulas and complemented with the daring innovation of his son Julián and grandsons Manuel, Rodrigo and Julián Jr, to place a piece of oak inside each bottle, something never done before in our country, achieving the first active bottle in the Dominican Republic, thus presenting a rum WITHOUT PRECEDENT!
The innovation consists in the application of American or French oak infused stoppers with medium plus or strong toast that, when in contact with the rum, provoke the continuity of the aging and transformation process inside the bottle as if it were in the barrel. With this, we also introduce the term Botella Única, since each “batch” will have strictly three thousand numbered bottles of each variety; thus betting on the creation of experiences, thinking of a truly different consumer.
