Colombian designer Silvia Tcherassi opened her first and only boutique in the Dominican Republic at the luxurious Tortuga Bay Puntacana Resort & Club hotel.
The renowned designer has more than two decades in the world of fashion and design, and is recognized worldwide for being the pioneer of “Latin Flair”, a style characterized by its colors and silhouettes that celebrate Latin cultures.
Her entry into the Dominican market could not be in a more appropriate place, the luxurious Tortuga Bay Puntacana Resort & Club, which is characterized by maintaining the Caribbean lifestyle with elegance and privacy. It has 13 exclusive beachfront villas and was designed by Oscar de la Renta and renovated by Markham Roberts, preserving the initial vision of the Dominican designer.
On this occasion, designer Silvia Tcherassi presents her Resort 2022 collection, which celebrates the individuality of women and brings to life the Caribbean elegance that characterizes the brand. Tcherassi emphasizes that “they are the artists behind their own lives: no two works of art are the same and no two women are the same”.
For the opening, a cocktail party was held in the presence of Tcherassi, Paola Rainieri, Countess Jade Le Grelle, Spanish designer Teresa de la Pisa, Eduardo and Johanna Grullón, among other personalities.
The boutique is open from Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The pioneer of “Latin flair” according to WWD, was born in the Colombian Caribbean and began her career as an interior designer, but the search for new artistic expressions led her to fashion. Her creations have been presented during the official calendar of the Paris and Milan fashion weeks, specially invited by the organizers.
