Dominican Republic is in fashion

The Dominican Republic is part of the list of trendy destinations, according to Tripadvisor among the best destinations in the world.

Quisqueya la bella ranks 17th among the 22 destinations selected in Travellers Choice’s 2022, which features spectacular destinations.

The selection includes little-known cities, as well as new getaways, and destinations that are in a kind of frothy growth spurt.

Topping the list of hot destinations is Mayorca.

An attraction for visitors from all over the world. It is an island located in the Mediterranean Sea, off the southeast coast of Spain, which has become a dream destination. This island offers something for everyone, including beaches and coves, a spectacular mountain range, romantic fishing villages and a rural landscape dotted with almond and olive groves.

In the number two spot is Cairo.

An imposing ancient city with the atmosphere of a modern metropolis.

It is one of the largest cities in the Middle East, as evidenced by the noise and traffic. However, as long as you are not looking for solitude, Cairo, the “City of a Thousand Minarets”, is the ideal place to learn about Egyptian history and culture.

In third place was Rhodes Dodecanese.

This is the largest and most popular of the twelve Dodecanese islands at the eastern end of the Aegean Sea. The well-preserved medieval town is located in the northern part of the island. The north and east coasts are dominated by hotel towers; the rest of the coast is dominated by small villages and tourist resorts.

In fourth place is Tulum, Mexico, where Mayan ruins stand out over the sea at Tulum, giving you a glimpse of history as you soak up the sun’s rays.

The once walled city was one of the last to be built by the Mayans and the excellent state of preservation of the archaeological sites is astonishing.

In fifth place we find Croatia.

The city of Dubrovnik has recovered from the devastation suffered by the war in the 1990s and visitors have returned to this serene city, nestled between the Adriatic and the Dinaric Alps, possessing a special charm.

The number six spot goes to Ibiza Baleares.

“Ibiza” means ‘have fun until you drop’ in old Spanish. This island is among the most romantic nightlife resorts in Europe.

In the number seven spot is Natal, Brazil.

This place is definitely the gateway to the stunning beaches of Rio Grande do Norte. The city of Natal sits on the Atlantic coast of Brazil, at the mouth of the Potengi River. Escape the hustle and bustle at the secluded beaches of Pipa and Pirangi or make the most of Genipabu and Tibau do Sul.

In the number eight spot is the fantastic city of Arusha.

If you’ve ever dreamed of an African adventure, consider Arusha in northern Tanzania. This Tanzanian city is a fantastic base for those who want to climb Kilimanjaro or go on safari, thanks to its location in the Great Rift Valley.

The number nine spot was reserved for Goreme in Turkey.

This is a town literally carved out of the volcanic rock that leads to Goreme National Park, a vast UNESCO World Heritage Site that is home to spectacular 10th and 11th century cave hermitages. The park itself is famous for its chimney-shaped rock formations and is a favorite among hikers.

At number ten we have Santorini, Cyclades Islands.

The elegance of Santorini is pleasingly different. The famous volcanic beaches of Perissa and Kamari, characterized by their black color, are great attractions, as is what can be considered the biggest celebrity of Red Beach, near Akrotiri, an unmissable site for archaeology enthusiasts.

Parati, in Brazil took the number eleven spot.

It is a city surrounded by mountains on Brazil’s Green Coast, between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. Its Portuguese colonial center has cobblestone streets and buildings dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, when it was a port during the gold rush in Brazil.

In twelfth place is Aruba.

A small Dutch Caribbean island off the coast of Venezuela, it has a dry, sunny climate, clear beaches and gentle waves. This place offers exciting adventures on land and sea. In addition, it is characterized by an active nightlife, with restaurants, casinos and clubs.

The thirteenth place was reserved for Sprit Croatia.
