Fresh and modern proposals without leaving aside the supremacy that should evoke a suit for bride and groom, gave context to the announcement of the RD Bridal Week 2024, to be held from September 6 to 8 at the Kimpton Las Mercedes Hotel, Ciudad Colonial.
The event began with a masterly rendition of Ave Maria, followed by a parade of gowns for both his and hers. When the line was complete, Socrates McKinney, organizer of the event, came to the stage very excited and with words of gratitude to those who have given them their support.
He assured that it will be three days full of glamour, experiences, bridal fashion and decoration trends, in the perfect setting offered by this beautiful hotel.
The event will feature the participation of renowned designers and bridal fashion houses of the country, who, together with outstanding decorators, will present the latest trends in the “RD Bridal Showroom”, an exhibition space conceptualized by the international wedding planner Mirta Sanchez, president of ABERD.
Meanwhile, Marta Amengual, general manager of the hotel, expressed her pleasure at hosting such an event at the Kimpton Las Mercedes.

The agenda includes runway shows by renowned designers such as Giannina Azar, Gabriela Alvarez, Jose Jhan, Vladimil Jimenez, Leonardo Fifth Ave, La Novea, Masculino Formal, Manuel Febrille, Melkis Diaz, Rafael Rivero, Arcadio Diaz, Bride to Be, Michelle Reynoso, The White Dress, Isabel Reynoso and Laura Garcia.
In addition, there will be specialized talks such as “Cásate con Estilo” by stylists Raúl Cohen and Giovanna Podestá, and “Si al Look Correcto” with Martín Valdez and Lil Cespedes, among others.
To close the showroom Farah Cabrera, named in honor of the Dominican designer, will be transformed to celebrate from 11:30 am the “Bridal Brunch”, where the future bride and groom can invite their courts, godmothers and friends to celebrate their future union in an unforgettable experience.
It will include music, talks, fashion, decoration and the exquisite gastronomic offer of the hotel, by its executive chef Cosimo Urso.
