The Dominican Republic is a market that mainly has operations to and from the United States. American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit and United are the companies with flights to that country, in the cities of Puerto Plata, Punta Cana, Santo Domingo and Santiago de los Caballeros.
A total of 2,600 operations between the United States and the Dominican Republic are scheduled for the month of May, according to the Cirium platform. New York will be the North American city with the most operations to the country, with an average of 500 flights per month.
Other important markets for the Dominican Republic are Central America, the Caribbean, Europe and Latin America. However, airlines have fewer operations scheduled for May than planned, as a consequence of the Coronavirus situation in the region.
