Mimi Ghandour visits DR to inspire yoga enthusiasts

The Botanical Garden of Santo Domingo hosted the “Vita & Mimi Wellness Experience: A Holistic Event”, an event focused on yoga, healthy living and personal wellness, which featured special guest Mimi Ghandour, founder of the global community and instruction RY200 Teacher Training Mimi Yoga centers.

Mimi, along with Dominique Barkhausen, founder of The Vita Place, inspired more than 80 women who attended the event. Participants enjoyed a Yoga Flow, led by Mimi, as well as a meditation and sound healing session given by Conexión Natura by Daniel Abreu and Ayala Holística by Ayala Etxebarri.

There were also workshops, gift bags and toasts provided by sponsors BanReservas, Aperol Pritz, Avena Americana, Caserío, San Pellegrino and Grey Goose, among others.

Mimi teaches classes at her school for the training of Yoga professionals RY200 Yoga Teacher Training and every day on her online platform MimiYoga.com with classes in English and Spanish. From her instagram @mimiyoga_official she shares her life and experiences in an authentic and inspiring way.

With her visit to the country, Mimi, born in Paris and currently residing in Miami Florida, fulfills her dream of continuing to expand her global community for all those seeking inspiration and a supportive space for personal transformation.

Yoga is an ancient practice that is becoming more and more popular in the Dominican Republic, bringing together different communities and institutions that wish to bring greater wellness and body-mind-spirit connection.
