Sky begins flights between Lima and Punta Cana

Chilean airline Sky made yesterday the inaugural flight of its new route between Lima and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), the company’s fourth international destination from the Peruvian capital.
With this new route, the company said in a press release that it expects to reach 4,000 passengers per month and an aircraft occupancy rate of over 80%.

The route will have three weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with flights departing from Lima at 10.05 local time (15.05 GMT) and landing in Punta Cana at 16.10 local time (20.10 GMT). The departure of Sky’s inaugural flight between Lima and Punta Cana was witnessed by company executives and by the ambassador of the Dominican Republic in Peru, Alejandro Arias, who highlighted the importance of reactivating travel within the framework of high prevention and security measures.
