Fuel prices will remain unchanged, according to Industry and Commerce

The Vice Minister of Domestic Trade, Ramón Pérez Fermín, informed this Friday that the Government decided to leave without variation, once again, the main hydrocarbons for the week from the 15th to the 21st in order to avoid that the international increases are transferred to the population.

“Our commitment is to continue monitoring international prices to take the necessary actions to protect consumers. For this week, palliative subsidies will continue to be applied.”

“These subsidies represent a total of RD$293 million to keep these prices affordable. Thanks to this important investment we have avoided fuel price hikes, thus protecting the family economy”, he explained.

Fuels will be marketed at the following prices:

  • Premium Gasoline will be sold at RD$290.10 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Regular Gasoline RD$272.50 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Regular Gasoil RD$221.60 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Gasoil Óptimo RD$239.10 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Avtur RD$197.76 per gallon up RD$5.54.
  • Kerosene RD$227.90 per gallon up RD$6.20.
  • Fuel Oil #6 RD$161.44 per gallon up RD$1.07.
  • Fuel Oíl 1%S RD$177.12 per gallon up RD$2.17.
  • Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$132.60 per gallon maintains its price.
  • Natural Gas RD$43.97 per m3 maintains its price.

The weekly average exchange rate is RD$59.55 according to the Central Bank’s daily publications.
