The Dominican Government, through the Essential Medicines Program and Central Logistics Support (Promesecal), will invest RD$1,225,674,092 in the purchase of medicines to cover the demand of the national public health system and the people’s pharmacies in the September-December 2024 period.
“This process reaffirms Promesecal’s commitment to public health and the well-being of all Dominicans, ensuring the timely and efficient supply of essential medicines and health products,” said the institution’s director, Adolfo Pérez, during the receipt of technical and economic bids, as well as the opening of samples corresponding to the National Public Tender under reference PROMESE/CAL-CCC-LPN-2024-0004….
Pérez underscored Promesecal’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in the management of public resources.
The work is being carried out in the presence of bidders, the Promesecal Purchasing and Contracting Committee, notaries public, experts, and the compliance officer of the Directorate of Public Purchasing and Contracting (DGCP).
About the process
Proposals are being received in closed, sealed and identified envelopes, together with samples, from this Tuesday through Wednesday, June 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Promesecal’s headquarters.
