Playa Bávaro, in Punta Cana, was included in the list of the 25 best beaches in the world and the 10 best in the Caribbean, in the “Best of the Best by Travellers’ Choice 2022” awards,
by the travel portal Tripadvisor.
The beach ranks #23 among the best in the world and #7 in the Caribbean.
The publication describes it explaining that in it the water is “as crystal clear as in the magazines and the beach is well maintained so there are no rocks. A place of total relaxation.”
In the Caribbean region list, two other Dominican beaches were included: Playa Dominicus in Bayahibe in position#11 and Macao Beach in Punta Cana in position #25.
The first one in Bayahibe (La Altagracia province) and the second one in the tourist zone Punta Cana, as the east coast from Juanillo to Uvero Alto is internationally recognized.
