The number of tourists visiting the Dominican Republic has been increasing every month, and among the foreigners
that this corner of the Caribbean has enchanted are also famous actors who arrived this year for vacation or for work reasons. In addition to the singers who have entered the island to offer concerts, the “protagonists” of audiovisuals have also made known their visit to what many people around the world have defined as “paradise”.
Enrique Arce, Mario Cimarro, Jacky Bracamontes, Ben Stiller and Jake Gyllenhaal were some of the film and television personalities who were in Dominican territory during these almost 365 days of the calendar.
On Wednesday, information was released that Spanish actor Enrique Arce, known for playing Arturo Román (Arturito) in the Netflix series “La Casa de Papel”, was enjoying the Fricolandia beach, located in the El Castillo community in the municipality of Luperón, in Puerto Plata, during his most recent visit to the country.
Arce, who has traveled to the country three times, decided to return for the second time to Fricolandia, according to a press release.
The actor was received by the owner of the private beach, Francisco A. Gómez “Frico”, who emphasized that the visit of the popular actor places this space with a unique natural charm, as a country brand in Dominican tourism.
In April, Arce was surprised to say that he was so delighted with the country that he would return.
“I really liked it there and we are going to make a commercial there with an important brand and I am going to get a property there, specifically in the city of Samaná”, he said and added that he will shoot a commercial to be an ambassador of a Dominican brand.
It is notorious that celebrities preferred the North Coast for their vacations: Mario Cimarro, for example, waited for 2022 on the beaches of Puerto Plata.
Cimarro, who plays Juan Reyes in “Pasión de gavilanes”, was in the company of his girlfriend, Slovakian model Bronislava Gregušová, 21 years his junior (51-30).
Cimarro posted from the Dominican Republic: “Have a divine time as you deserve! Lots of good vibes my people!”.
Jacqueline Bracamontes was also seen at the end of last year in “La Novia del Atlántico”. The Mexican actress was on the cruise with her husband Martin Fuentes and their five daughters.
With a simple and friendly manner, the actress was at the Emotions by Hodelpa hotel facilities in the Playa Dorada complex.
In July 2022, the famous actor Ben Stiller, who was the official voice of the character “Alex” in the “Madagascar” movie saga, was seen in La Romana.
Benjamin Edward Meara Stiller, his real name, stayed at the Casa de Campo world resort.
No less famous is actor Vin Diesel, who was in the country and is already a regular in these corners of the Caribbean.
Last September, U.S. actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who rose to fame playing a gay cowboy alongside Heath Ledger in the movie “Brokeback Mountain”, was a visitor to the Casa de Campo resort in La Romana. No details were disclosed.
