The Dominican Republic continues to reap success and achievements in international tourism fairs, obtaining important recognitions after its successful recovery.
On this occasion, one of Colombia’s largest agencies, Price Travel Holding, based in Mexico, awarded the Dominican Republic as “Best International Destination”, informed the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, on his Twitter account.
The Caribbean country received that recognition for having been the best-selling destination during 2021 and with historic sales projections for 2022.
The award was granted during the 41st Anato Tourism Showcase in Colombia, one of the most important fairs in Latin America.
The Dominican Republic has become a world reference for its recovery in the tourism industry and has been recognized at various international tourism fairs.
At FITUR, as it is known, the most important tourism fair in Spain and one of the largest in the world, the country won first place for Best Stand.
