The founder of the Puntacana Group, Frank Rainieri, was recognized by the Embassy of Ecuador in the Dominican Republic with the presentation of a portrait by the talented Ecuadorian painter Arturo Pastor.
The unveiling was attended by Ambassador Santiago Martinez and Consul Diego Tituaña, among other guests, who accompanied Mr. Frank Rainieri to receive the significant distinction.
“Frank Rainieri: more than a recognized visionary, a man of great human quality, a just and good man, a simple man with a great social conscience; qualities not always present in people who achieve so much success in life,” said the Ambassador.
The gesture not only celebrates Arturo Pastor’s talent as a painter, but also strengthens the cultural and diplomatic ties between Ecuador and the Dominican Republic through art and culture.
With more than 50 years of experience in art and based in New York, artist Arturo Pastor is known for his ability to create realistic portraits that capture the essence and personality of his subjects in an exceptional way, using oil and canvas for his works that reflect his artistic skill and meticulous attention to detail.
Pastor’s talent has been recognized worldwide, highlighted by his impressive portfolio that includes commissioned portraits of prominent figures, such as the presidents of Panama and Ecuador. In addition, he had the honor of painting the official portrait for the historic visit of John Paul II to Ecuador, an event of great significance for the country.
