During a pleasant and inspiring activity, the winners of the VIII Dominican Republic Entrepreneurs Fair 2021, which began last Friday, were announced, where 42 entrepreneurs presented their brands or projects.
The first place was won by the brand Nero’s, winning 500,000 pesos in cash to invest in their business, which is characterized by the preparation of Caribbean and Latin American frozen food and distributed in supermarkets.
Second place went to Todo Fresco, a company that produces and markets fresh fruits, vegetables and groceries. It was awarded a cash prize of 300,000 pesos.
Another winner was CacaoMae, a company dedicated to the production of organic cocoa. It also won third place and a cash prize of 300,000 pesos.
In addition, as a way of recognizing the effort and dedication of the other entrepreneurs and their companies, Pratsico, Helados Cocotai, Ruta del Casabe Doña Mechy and Milz Chocolat received a special mention during the event and were awarded a remuneration at the request of the organizers.
The awards ceremony was headed by Manuel Corripio on behalf of José Luis Corripio Estrada (Pepin) and the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, who presented the awards to each of the winning entrepreneurs of the eighth version held in 2021.
Both exhorted the winners and the participants to follow their dreams in order to contribute in an integral and positive way to the development of the country.
