The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (Mescyt) channeled a total of 160 national scholarships for master’s degrees, in collaboration with the prominent house of higher education CEF – Santo Domingo.
These scholarships are aimed at postgraduate programs in key areas such as Financial Economic Management, MBA, Public Administration, Digital Marketing, Commercial and Marketing Management, and Human Resources Management.
The master’s degree programs offered by CEF.- Santo Domingo have the option of a double degree, which will allow graduates to obtain an academic endorsement recognized in the European Union, thus enhancing their competitiveness in the global labor market.
During the scholarship award ceremony, the rector of CEF-Santo Domingo, Patricia Portela, addressed a few words to the new scholarship recipients, noting that this institution has become, from now on, their new home.
Portela underscored the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, stressing the importance of being prepared to face the challenges posed by technological advances, such as artificial intelligence, the internationalization of the economy and the current macroeconomic situation.
For his part, Edesio Ureña Albacete, general director of CEF.- Santo Domingo, emphasized that, although the academic rigor of the institution may seem demanding, its ultimate goal is to train highly competitive professionals in the labor market of the Dominican Republic, the European Union and globally.
