Marriott’s AC Hotels brand debuts in the Dominican Republic. The hotelier has opened a new establishment, the AC Hotel Punta Cana, the brand’s first on the Caribbean island. With 129 rooms, the new hotel brings European style to the heart of Punta Cana.
The chain highlights its open and multifunctional spaces, making the AC Hotel Punta Cana the ideal accommodation for both vacations and business trips. The establishment is also located 15 minutes from Punta Cana Airport.
“With a perfect location, the first AC Hotel in the Dominican Republic offers visitors elegant and purposefully designed spaces, modern rooms and a refined dining experience,” said Jeff Tomczek, vice president of Distinctive Select Brands.
The hotel’s design and décor is clearly influenced by the culture and history of the Dominican Republic. In fact, the hotel’s program includes musical performances by different local artists. The hotel’s gastronomic offerings are inspired by Spanish cuisine, including classic tapas.
