Asonahores: Santo Domingo is on its way to 9,000 hotel rooms

The president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores), David Llibre, highlighted the development that the city of Santo Domingo has had in recent years in the growth of its hotel plant.

In this sense, he informed that currently the Dominican capital has approximately 8,000 hotel rooms and there are approximately 900 under construction.

“The city of Santo Domingo continues to strengthen because it is not seen only as a sun and beach destination, but also has business tourism, shopping and the attraction that is the Colonial Zone,” he added.
