BlueBay Hotels has reopened its hotel complex in the Dominican Republic, BlueBay Villas Doradas.
With this new opening, the Spanish hotel company has three hotels in operation in the Caribbean. Of these, two are located in Riviera Maya, Mexico – BlueBay Grand Esmeralda***** and Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique Hotel*****GL -, and a third in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, BlueBay Villas Doradas****.
All the establishments of the hotel chain are operating normally and applying the strict protocols against Covid-19 that have been put in place since the beginning of the pandemic.
Thus, under the slogan ‘Clean and Care’, the Spanish hotel chain has developed protocols designed to take care of both its customers and its employees, suppliers and business partners.
According to Jamal Satli Iglesias, president of BlueBay Hotels, ‘prior to the reopening of our hotels, training has been provided to all departments so that all staff are well instructed to protect themselves and our customers’.
For his part, the group’s general manager, Ramón Hernández, wanted to ‘thank the workers for their loyalty and effort to be able to resume operations in a historic destination like Puerto Plata, which needs more than ever the promotion and institutional support’.
The normalization of air traffic, the return to operation of tour operators and the resurgence of tourism at a global level have made it possible for the Spanish chain to return to full capacity.
The BlueBay Villas Doradas hotel has 245 rooms and is located on the beachfront of Playa Dorada.
It offers All Inclusive Adults Only service and has a wide range of activities, from cooking classes, dancing and nautical activities, as well as a spa and relaxation area with Balinese beds on the beach.
It also has a wide gastronomic offer that includes the main restaurant with buffet service and three themed restaurants, as well as bars and a snack bar open 24 hours a day.
