Holiday Inn Santo Domingo obtains Mitur quality certification

Holiday Inn Santo Domingo announced that it has satisfactorily complied with the requirements to obtain the Qualitur certification, a distinction granted by the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Mitur), a credential that once again reaffirms the hotel’s commitment to credibility, distinction and reliability in the tourism sector.

The seal was handed over by the Vice Minister of Quality of Tourism Services, Roberto HenrĂquez, during the recent Board of Directors of Santo Domingo Hotels, organized by the association that groups the region’s tourism properties.

“Receiving the Qualitur certification is an honor and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. We are proud to be recognized for our commitment to quality and the satisfaction of our guests,” said Juan Guerrero, general manager of Holiday Inn Santo Domingo.

“This accreditation granted by Mitur motivates us to continue improving and offering exceptional services that exceed the expectations of our visitors,” he concluded.

Qualitur is a certification system created by the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic to guarantee and promote quality in tourism services. To obtain accreditation, properties must meet rigorous criteria in areas such as sustainability, quality management and customer satisfaction.

Properties that earn the Qualitur seal not only demonstrate their commitment to excellence, but also guarantee their guests a high-quality experience backed by regular audits and evaluations. This ensures that standards are maintained over time, always offering the best in terms of service and sustainability.

In addition, certification provides establishments with greater visibility through promotional programs and the guarantee of meeting the highest international standards.

In addition to the recent certification, the Holiday Inn Santo Domingo already has other distinctions that endorse its commitment to quality and sustainability. These include the Green Engage certification, an IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) program that promotes ecological and sustainable practices in its hotels. This program allows the hotel to measure and manage its environmental impact effectively, reducing energy and water consumption and minimizing waste. Also, the hotel has been recognized with TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence, which is awarded to establishments that consistently receive excellent reviews from travelers.
