Hotel industry leaders explore attractions of new Cayo Levantado Resort

Last Friday, May 26, the main executives of the Association of Hotels and Tourism (Asonahores), Inverotel and the Association of Hotels and Tourism Companies of Samaná (Ahetsa), toured the facilities of the renovated Cayo Levantado Resort, which belongs to Grupo Piñero.

In this sense, Encarna Piñero, CEO of Grupo Piñero, explained that “next June 1st will be the moment when we will officially open the doors to receive the first clients in Cayo Levantado Resort and I have had the pleasure of visiting the complex accompanied by Jesús Duran, Genaro Benitez, Matias Colombo, Paqui Benitez, and Hervé Blondel, directors of Grupo Piñero, the board of directors of Asonahores, represented by David Llibre and Andrés Marranzini, president and vice-president respectively, Ramón Roselló, manager of Inverotel, and Federico A. Schad, on behalf of Ahets, the hotel management company. Schad, representing Ahetsa”.

“I consider myself privileged, because no matter how many times I live the experience of the best kept secret of the Dominican Republic, because it never ceases to surprise me, in the same way that has happened with our companions and feel the vital, cultural and natural rhythm of the Samaná peninsula is not easily forgotten,” added the executive in her official Intagram account.

For their part, Asonahores executives said they are “happy to explore together, we have known the new facilities of Cayo Levantado Resort, a tour that took us into the beauty that keeps every corner. In this space we also had the opportunity to meet with members of the Samaná Tourism Cluster, who presented the needs of the sector in such an important area”.

It is recalled that for the invocation of the hotel complex, $40 million has been invested in a product with a unique and differentiated personality, adapted to the luxury segment and at the forefront of the transformation of the sector.
