Iberostar launches its new branded segment in Punta Cana

Iberostar Hotels & Resorts presented three new sub-brands to segment its beach hotel offerings according to the experiences and services it provides: Iberostar Waves, for families and couples; Iberostar Selection, which offers premium, generous and relaxed vacation experiences; and Joia by Iberostar, a collection of luxury resorts.

In the last category, Joia by Iberostar, which is described as “an exquisite and personalized service,” four Caribbean hotels will launch the new brand: the Paraiso in Riviera Maya; the Playa Bávaro in Punta Cana; the Aruba in Eagle Beach; and the Rose Hall in Jamaica’s Montego Bay.

The goal of Iberostar’s new strategy is to help customers better differentiate the hotels in its portfolio, according to their experiences and services, in the best beachfront locations to find the one that best meets their aspirations, the company reports.

Phil Mc Aveety, CEO of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, said, “We are delighted to share the evolution of our brand, which reflects our aspirations for the future. Our business is about “creating happy and memorable vacation experiences.”

“This renewed promise to our guests is supported by a refreshed segmentation of our portfolio and an evolution of our brand identity. Based on valuable feedback from our partners, loyal customers and employees, this reorientation reflects our goal of promoting positive change through positive tourism,” he added.
