Jorge Feliz Germán, president of Karisma Hotels & Resorts for the Dominican Republic, confirmed that the chain will expand to other destinations in the country and will build two hotels under its Nickelodeon Hotels and Margaritaville brands in Pedernales.
“We have already confirmed our participation in Pedernales with two of our themed brands, and we will also build a water park”, he added.
He indicated that although the project has not been defined, they estimate that there will be around 700 rooms between both lodging establishments in a first stage.
As for the investment, Feliz German said that it is not quantified because it is in the design process. “Until we have the design completely ready we cannot quantify the investment”.
“We as a hotel chain innovate year after year and we always renew our brands and I think that after the pandemic the work we have left is precisely to make a deep renovation of our concept and the experience we offer our guests,” he emphasized.
