Its executives emphasize their commitment to increase the quality of the tourist proposal of the destinations where the company is present.
The recent refurbishments and changes of concept experienced by the Hotel Faro, a Lopesan Collection Hotel, the Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa, the Abora Catarina by Lopesan Hotels and the Corallium Dunamar by Lopesan Hotels will have a special prominence at the fair in Madrid.
And they emphasize that this proposal has as its main objective the creation of modern experiences to meet the expectations of Premium tourists.
In order to define new lines of business and reinforce its operational strategy during Fitur, the team from the Sales and Marketing Department, which has traveled to Madrid, has closed an agenda of more than 90 meetings, they report.
They relate that the national market will be the protagonist in many of these professional meetings, focusing on the possibility of making the most of the connectivity of Gran Canaria, with the peninsular territory, to deseasonalize the destination.
“Madrid and Barcelona are traditionally the airports of reference for the island, however, the connections with other important cities such as Santiago, Vigo, Oviedo, Bilbao, Valladolid, Valencia, Malaga, Seville or Badajoz, present an excellent opportunity to attract a greater number of guests outside the traditional season,” says the statement distributed to the media.

They explain that the periods between Easter and July, as well as the months of September and October, will be the main focus of the Lopesan Group’s commercial team’s efforts, with a view to signing new agreements with traditional tourist agents that can guarantee a gradual deseasonalization of the market strategy.
And that Fitur will be the ideal framework to reinforce the already existing alliances with the new tourist groups that have arisen from the mergers between Viajes El Corte Inglés and Logitravel, as well as the one between Ávoris Corporación Empresarial and Globalia.
At this point, the Meloneras Majestic Mile project will be key as a negotiating element, along with the recent remodeling and concept changes undergone by the Hotel Faro, a Lopesan Collection Hotel, the Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa, the Abora Catarina by Lopesan Hotels and the Corallium Dunamar by Lopesan Hotels.
International expansion, digitalization and sustainable development are the master pillars on which the future projects of the Lopesan Group are based and, at the same time, the basis of the roadmap set by the company for the Madrid event, which will be held from January 18 to 22. Despite the fact that the domestic market will once again be the protagonist at Fitur, the main international players have also confirmed their attendance, facilitating the possibility of materializing new agreements that have an impact on the portfolio of hotels in Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, the Dominican Republic and Thailand, where the latest addition made by Lopesan Hotel Management stands out: the Edén Beach Resort & Spa, part of the Lopesan Collection Hotel.

A representation of the commercial team of the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort, Spa & Casino went to Madrid to start contracting for 2024. During the meetings, which make up their ambitious agenda, they will work on strengthening a line of business between Spain and the Caribbean, as it is an interesting avenue for expansion with ample room for growth.
The action plan for Fitur includes the possibility of strengthening commercial ties and expanding the list of European partners that currently include the Lopesan Costa Bávaro Resort in their catalogs. The delegation will be present at the Dominican Republic’s stand, increasing the visibility of the product and ensuring the success of its participation in the major event of the year for the tourism sector in Spain.
Renewed image, same impetus
The shades of blue that result from the sky meeting the ocean at sunset mark the renewed look of the Lopesan Hotel Group stand at Fitur. The change of image bets on a more modern and attractive aesthetic, in which the contrasts of the LED lights playing a prominent role on the wood. Located in plot 9E04 of IFEMA’s Hall 9, this new workspace occupies a prominent position in the surroundings of the Canary Islands stage.
An imposing screen, which will project promotional videos and a collage of iconic photos of the company’s hotel portfolio, will add dynamism to each of the independent stands that will host the different meetings planned. Technology at the service of tourism
During its presence at Fitur, Lopesan Hotel Management will present the Guest Intelligence 2.0 project, a technological research and development action, with application in the hotel business, funded by the “Investing in your future” program of the European Union, the Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
This investment in R&D&I seeks to generate new assets that increase the company’s competitiveness, through an agile and open model that serves to analyze the guest’s customer journey, using disruptive tools based on voice and artificial intelligence. Similarly, employees can take advantage of this method thanks to the capabilities provided by augmented reality and IoT devices.
