Marriott is announcing the upcoming launch of a new midscale extended-stay brand, after major competitors such as Hilton, Hyatt and Wyndham have followed suit with the creation of new labels aimed at this segment, reports ‘Desarrollo’.
The U.S. giant will announce its new brand soon, according to Tony Capuano, Marriott’s president and CEO.
The new brand is a “simple and modern extended-stay product, with very basic services and amenities for those looking for longer stays at mid-scale rates.
