PHR Hotels & Resorts opened two properties, the Frano Romana Center Hotel in La Romana and the Costa Linda Beach Hotel in Boca Chica.
The Frano Romana Center Hotel brings to La Romana 60 rooms at prices not exceeding US$45 per night, including breakfast.
Meanwhile, the Costa Linda Beach Boca Chica Hotel brings 30 rooms to the Santo Domingo tourist destination, with prices not exceeding US$35 per night, including breakfast, and located on the beachfront.
With these openings, the low cost chain now has 14 hotels in the country covering Santo Domingo, Colonial City, Boca Chica, La Romana and Punta Cana.
Javier Conde, Co-Ceo of PHR Hotels & Resorts, indicated that the expansion of the hotel chain is due to the fact that “this way of staying at very accessible and affordable prices for both tourists and local tourism, quality accommodations at super-reduced prices, as is the case in Europe, is taking hold”.
He reported that PHR Hotels & Resorts will continue to expand its portfolio of properties in the DR, expecting to exceed 20 properties between 2024-2025 and with that they are preparing to land a new property in Santiago de Los Caballeros.
