It is recalled that Germany has traditionally been an important European market for the Dominican Republic. In 2019, they were positioned as the third issuer from the old continent, only behind France and Russia markets that have been lost in recent years for different reasons. However, in 2023, German tourists were relegated to fourth place in Europe, according to Spanish press.
