Promoting attractions of the new Wyndham Alltra Samaná

Wyndham’s Alltra brand debuted in the Dominican Republic with the opening of the Wyndham Alltra Samaná All Inclusive Resort, an establishment with 620 luxury rooms in an emerging destination, for which Playa Hotels & Resorts aims to boost demand for the resort among the German public.

Therefore, during 6 days and with the attendance of about 40 guests, the company took representatives of the tour operators Dertour and Schauinsland, by the Bay of Palma and the hotel was presented to them.

The event was attended by Martina Beeken (from the agency Meiers Weltreisen), Monika Kosin, Angela Mass, Pascal Gross, Christiand Schütte or Dennis Urbschat, according to the international press.

“With VIPs from key markets in attendance, we took the opportunity to showcase new properties from our entire portfolio to our partners and made sure to review and strengthen our program to optimally focus our summer and winter offerings,” explained Anders Sparkhall, commercial director of Playa Hotels.

It is recalled that Germany has traditionally been an important European market for the Dominican Republic. In 2019, they were positioned as the third issuer from the old continent, only behind France and Russia markets that have been lost in recent years for different reasons. However, in 2023, German tourists were relegated to fourth place in Europe, according to Spanish press.
