Tafer Hotels & Resorts, a leisure and hospitality company known for its collection of hotels, luxury resorts and boutique villas in Mexico and the Caribbean, is launching its hotel management services. The company will manage three properties: Palmar Azul Beach in Mexico’s Riviera Maya, Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Miches and Kairi Club Miches, both in the Dominican Republic.
‘Today marks the beginning of a new chapter for Tafer Hotels & Resorts with the debut of our hotel management services, expanding our commitment to excellence, innovation and success for a growing portfolio of luxury hotels and resorts,’ said Sasa Milojevic, chief operating officer of Tafer Hotels & Resorts, in a statement.
‘From these first three hotel deals, we look forward to working with valued partners to bring exclusive brands to coveted destinations, delivering unforgettable vacation experiences for guests while achieving seamless oversight and impressive returns for owners and developers in Mexico, the Caribbean and beyond,’ he added.
Tafer’s management services span all dimensions of hospitality, from architectural design, conceptual design and resort management to residential and timeshare management, full-service marketing and destination travel agency services.
In this latest project, the company will leverage its existing portfolio of luxury brands and its first-hand knowledge of all aspects of operations and innovation to ensure that the properties under its management are desirable long-term assets.
The Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Miches by Tafer in the Dominican Republic, a new-build hotel due to open in late 2026, will be located among lush palm groves and the shores of Esmeralda Beach in Samana Bay. The property represents the expansion of Tafer and its award-winning Garza Blanca Resort & Spa brand beyond Mexico, bringing its hallmarks of service excellence, contemporary design, all-inclusive gourmet cuisine and inspiring experiences and amenities for travellers of all generations to the Caribbean.
Kairi Club Miches by Tafer, a new adults-only concept will also debut in late 2026 in the Dominican Republic. Located in the heart of the coastal town of Miches and surrounded by stunning natural beauty and breathtaking views along the sandy stretches of Esmeralda Beach, the all-inclusive resort will offer guests an idyllic Caribbean retreat, all within easy reach of Punta Cana International Airport.
The company will reopen Palmar Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya by Tafer, formerly Azul Beach Resort Riviera Cancun, as an all-inclusive luxury retreat in Quintana Roo, Mexico, in January 2025, following an extensive renovation. Under Tafer’s expert management, Palmar Azul Beach Resort will cater to discerning multi-generational guests with spacious and well-appointed multi-bedroom suites, on-site spa, six swimming pools, as well as eight bars and eight restaurants, including the Michelin-starred restaurant led by renowned chef Jonatan Gomez Luna.
The property will offer guests holidays tailored to individual desires and styles, whether travelling as a couple, family, friends or as part of a larger group.
