This award aims to recognize and promote the young population that contributes day by day to the sustainable development of the Dominican Republic, and is the highest recognition granted by the Dominican State through the Ministry of Youth to outstanding young Dominicans in various fields.
During 2020, a year of the greatest health crises in recent times, young Dominicans demonstrated that they are capable of responding when society demands it.
Likewise, they are able to make use of their intelligence to create business models that are sustainable over time.
This is why the National Youth Award, in its 26th edition, is dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation, fundamental axes for the development and welfare of societies, and where the bravery, courage and resilience of so many young people who have been able to stand up for the country, creating important projects to improve the competitiveness and productivity of the nation, will be honored.
