It was in the Dominican Republic that JLo “Felt Good Being Alone”; discusses breakup with ARod

Singer Jennifer Lopez broke her silence about her breakup with ex-athlete Alex Rodriguez last April after four years together and two of those engaged.

The “Diva of the Bronx” revealed to Apple Music host Ebro Darden that when she realized that not everything was going well with her ex-fiancé, “things started to fall into place” and she saw everything from a different perspective.

The Dominican Republic will remain in the artist’s memory, and not only because of the affection she always receives from the Dominicans, but also because it was here that the relationship with ARod came to an end.

The actress herself admitted that she opened her eyes in Quisqueya while filming the movie “Shotgun Wedding” and the media witnessed the times the businessman came to visit his former love in the midst of breakup rumors.

“There [I reached] a point in my life where it really felt good to be alone,” JLo confessed, although without mentioning her ex at any time, according to Quién magazine.

All this comes on the heels of the release of her song “Cambia el paso” with urban Rauw Alejandro, which speaks precisely of “changing direction when something doesn’t work right,” according to her words and the song’s story.

“Once I realized that, [things happened]. Things happened that you don’t expect to happen. Once you get to the point where you think, ‘This isn’t right for me, or this doesn’t feel right, or I need to make an adjustment here.’ This isn’t about anyone but me.’ Once you do that, things start to fall into place. I think that’s how you have to process these moments,” JLo said, according to Quién magazine.

Marketing should not be missing. And as has happened on other occasions, Lopez also came clean in saying that many times the things that happen in her life are reflected in her work, especially at the musical level, and it was reflected in “Cambia el paso”, which has more than six million views on YouTube.

“It always comes up in music. Sometimes you have to change direction, even though that might be painful or might seem strange to other people. It’s really just about who you are and what feels right to you, and that’s what it’s all about,” Jennifer Lopez assured.

For example, here’s a button: After her divorce with salsa star Marc Anthony she published her biographical book “True Love” (2014), in which she talks about the reasons that led her to divorce her ex-husband and father of her two children, Max and Emme.

As well as her relationships with dancer Casper Smart and actor Ben Affleck.

The interpreter of “Dance again” said she is in the best moment of her life: “I’ve never been better,” she says.

In addition, she indicates that she is enjoying everything she does and lives.

“I’m doing well. I love my life right now. I love what I’m doing. I love where I am. I love the person I’m continually evolving and becoming. And that kind of joy, that kind of happiness, that kind of love always inspires me,” she said.

Lopez and Ben Affleck resumed their romance after 17 years.
