Burger King restaurants are already serving as classrooms

After the announcement through their social networks with the slogan “Let’s turn on education!”, some Burger King restaurants were serving as of 9:00 a.m. this Tuesday morning to the morning shift students of some schools in Santo Domingo.

A tour of the fast food stores on Abraham Lincoln, Los Proceres (Diamond Mall) and Churchill avenues showed groups of less than 10 students being taught.

While in the branches of the Ágora Mall and Galería 360 there was no presence of students.

“From tomorrow (Tuesday) our restaurants will be available from 8:00 am until noon to continue with the education of children,” shared Burger King Dominican Republic on its Instagram account on Tuesday night.

During the tour, when speaking with the managers and other employees of the different canteens to find out which public or private educational centers were in place and how the dynamics were being, however, they refused to offer statements to the newspaper claiming that they did not want to cause disturbances in the children’s classes and that they were not authorized.

They also stated that all they have published on their official website (burgerkingrd) is all they can offer.
