Cap Cana has become one of the privileged destinations in the Dominican Republic. The quality of the beaches and the tourist attractions of the area have been key to the fact that the Destination City has an offer of 7,400 hotel and residential rooms in operation. And some 1,300 are in the process of construction.
Its master plan is conceived in an area of more than 110 million square meters and a projection, over several decades, of more than 100,000 hotel and residential rooms.
The development of the first phase of the master plan is currently equivalent to the distance from Parque Independencia to Gregorio Luperón Avenue, and from George Washington Avenue to John F. Kennedy Avenue in length and depth, according to its directors.
During a business round and presentation of the destination to investors and construction entrepreneurs of the Dominican Republic, with a view to the development of various tourism real estate and hotel projects, Jorge Subero Medina, executive president of Cap Cana, stressed that the country is at the best time to make new investments in this sector.
“The high demand of people who today demand a different, exclusive lifestyle, in spaces where luxury, security and physical and emotional well-being converge, places us in a privileged position within the sector because this is precisely what we offer as a destination,” said Subero Medina.
In his speech, he added that “Cap Cana is luxury and exclusivity, and this is reflected through the highest quality standards in each of its areas of diversification and development, such as: world-class infrastructure, the most beautiful beaches on the east coast of the country, basic services, the majestic Punta Espada golf course, the safest marina on land in the Caribbean and the most complete equestrian center in the region, as well as the most important ecological adventure park, Scape Park, among other amenities”.
Cap Cana, as he explained, is called Destination City, first, because of its territorial size and, second, because it is conceptualized on a master plan that contemplates and has social, commercial activities and services necessary so that those who invest in it do not need to leave.
He also said that road education programs are being implemented, as well as programs for the readjustment and training of personnel for the existing inclusive areas that facilitate the movement of people with various disabilities, as part of the sustainability of the Destination City.
Cap Cana is an exclusive territory located on the eastern tip of the Dominican Republic. The hotel offer is made up of Secrets, Hyatt Ziva & Hyatt Zilara, Eden Roc, the only Relaix & Chateaux hotel in the country; Margaritaville, operated by Karisma; Marriot International with The Luxury Collection in Sanctuary Cap Cana, Sports Illustrated Resorts Marina & Villas, TRS of the Palladium Group, and currently under construction the St Regis hotel.
