Abinader recognizes Felipe Vicini’s work in favor of sports

The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, and the Minister of Sports, Francisco Camacho, presented an award to businessman Felipe Vicini for his contributions in favor of Dominican sports.

He was also recognized for the impact that his initiatives have had in helping the Dominican Republic achieve the best participation in the history of the Olympic Games.

The President presented a plaque highlighting Vicini’s “contributions to the athletes and to the development of Dominican sports”.

The recognition, received by representatives of all Creso’s partner companies, highlights the value that Vicini’s initiatives have achieved, encouraging other private sector companies to join in supporting sports.

The plaque highlights “the valuable business initiatives such as the Creando Sueños Olímpicos (Creso) program and the Dominican Olympic Baseball Program (Probeisbol), whose benefits have been reflected in the historic harvest of 5 medals at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games”.

Vicini thanked the Presidency and the Ministry of Sports for their gesture, and assured that the interest is to continue working hand in hand, private sector and State, to continue developing sports and generating leaders who are role models for young people.
