Banreservas presents the Banreservas Cup for the 2021-2022 Baseball Tournament; will be dedicated to Kalil Haché

The president of the Dominican Baseball League (LIDOM) and the general administrator of Banco de Reservas, Vitelio Mejía and Samuel Pereyra, respectively, unveiled this Wednesday the “Banreservas Cup” that will be contested by the six Dominican teams in the 2021-2022 Fall-Winter Baseball Tournament.

Banco de Reservas is the official sponsor of the tournament, which will be dedicated to the athlete Kalil Haché, who passed away last year due to COVID-19, whose family received the symbolic ball and certificate at the same ceremony held tonight at Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo.

Pereyra highlighted the commitment that Banreservas has with Dominican baseball, which he considered a country brand, for which reason it will also be the official sponsor of the Caribbean Series, which will be held in the Dominican Republic.

He added that the fans of the teams will have the opportunity to know and touch the Cup, which will be exhibited in different branches of the bank for these purposes.

He also explained that the financial institution will be motivating Dominicans to attend the games by raffling tickets and other incentives that will be announced at a later date.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on October 27, where the teams Tigres del Licey, Leones del Escogido, Aguilas Cibaeñas, Gigantes del Cibao, Toros del Este and Estrellas Orientales will compete for the championship.
