Dominican Republic will have 188 athletes at the 2021 Junior Pan American Games

A few days before the start of the 2021 Junior Pan American Games, the Dominican Republic confirmed the list of athletes who will represent the country in the sporting event. In total, the Dominican delegation will have 188 athletes, who will be competing in 26 sports disciplines.

In fact, this Friday, President Luis Abinader handed over the flag of his country to the group of athletes who will travel to the city of Cali to participate in the competitions.

For his part, Francisco Camacho, Minister of Sports of the Dominican Republic, took the opportunity to highlight the work of the athletes and commented: “I am not a friend of making predictions but our athletes are well prepared and are going firmly to the Junior Pan American Games. They have the desire to fly the flag of the Dominican Republic at the highest point in Cali”.

It should be recalled that this sporting event will begin on November 25 and the presence of more than 3,500 athletes from 41 countries of the Americas is expected.
