Dominican Republic beat Portugal 80-79, thanks to a basket by Andres Feliz, with two seconds left in the last half.
The Dominican Republic will face Spain on Friday, in the last preparatory game for both teams before the Pre-Olympic that gives the ticket to the Olympic Games of Paris 2024 where they are placed in different tournaments.
The Dominicans, who had already beaten Norway and Ivory Coast in the two previous friendlies, put the direct from the first moments since after the initial 0-2 of the Portuguese, they chained a 14-0 partial thanks to the great success from the three-point line and two triples by Chris Duarte and another one by Andres Feliz.
With 14 seconds left, Portugal took advantage, but in the last possession with two seconds left to the end of the game Andres Feliz gave the victory to his team.
