The Dominican Republic will participate in the Puerto Rico Chess Classic Chess Championship, which will be held from the 7th to the 10th of this month, at the Jardines de Caparra Community Center in Bayamon.
FIDE Master Braulio Ramírez, like the other members of this delegation, seeks to improve his individual ranking.
It will also serve as training for the 2023 Continental Chess Championship, which will be held in the country next year.
Completing the delegation are FIDE Master Leonardo Estévez Polanco from Santiago, Master candidates Carlos Moscoso and William Arias as well as national experts Presley Nova Ramírez and Luis Bourdie.
The international event will be played in 7 rounds under the Swiss system, with a time control of 90 minutes, plus 30 seconds increment for each player.
