Fedojudo holds training day for coaches and athletes

The training meeting, which will be held from the 18th to the 21st of this month, has sensei Slavisa Bradic (Brada) as speaker and is aimed at coaches and veteran athletes from the different judo associations in the country.

The Dominican Judo Federation (Fedojudo) opened on Thursday a kata training day for coaches and athletes of the organization at the National Judo House of the Olympic Center.

The training meeting, which will be held from the 18th to the 21st of this month, has sensei Slavisa Bradic (Brada) as a speaker and is aimed at coaches and veteran athletes from the different judo associations in the country.

The course is supported by the International Judo Federation (IJF) and the Ministry of Sports.

A total of 52 coaches and athletes coming from 18 Judo Associations of the Country, take part in the training day organized by the Fedojudo and which aims to continue with its program of preparation of more coaches.

“This is a unique opportunity to grow and learn with the objective of continuing to bet on the development of judo,” said Gilberto Garcia, president of Fedojudo.

The work days start at 9:00 in the morning, with the theoretical part, while in the afternoon the practical work is carried out.

The meeting is carried out under the coordination of the Technical Direction of Fedojudo, directed by Leidi German.

The opening of the course was headed by Gilberto García and Luisa Martínez, president and general secretary of Fedojudo, respectively, as well as Leidi Germán, Lwilli Santana and Manuel Minier, from the technical, kata and refereeing directions, and sensei Slavisa Bradic (Brada).
