Messi visits us! The soccer player is in the Dominican Republic

Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi is visiting the Dominican Republic.

According to a source, Messi arrived in the country at noon and is in La Romana, in the east of the country.

Leo Messi, 34, recently won his first title with Argentina in the Copa America, with a 1-0 win over Brazil.

Messi has been the top scorer in La Liga history (463 goals) or the most goals in a calendar year (91 in 2012). He is also the only player to have six Ballon d’Or (2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2019) and six Golden Boots (2009-10, 2011-12, 2012-13, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19).

He has also won more than 30 titles with FC Barcelona, including 10 Spanish La Liga championships, 8 Spanish Super Cups, 7 King’s Cups, 4 Champions Leagues, 3 Club World Cups and 3 European Super Cups.

With his country’s national team he also achieved a runner-up in the World Cup held in Brazil 7 years ago, won a World Cup in the U-20 category in 2005 and won a gold medal in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.

The Argentine ’10’ arrived through La Romana International Airport, and is staying at the Casa de Campo resort in the required locality.
