Mexico’s men’s team defeated Canada 3-0 to win the Pan American Volleyball Cup on Thursday at the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center in Santo Domingo, the Dominican capital.
Mexico’s victory was won by scores of 25-17, 26-24 and 25-20.
With their passage to the final, both teams earned the only two tickets in contention for the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile.
The Mexicans continued with their compact all-around game, which only faltered a bit in the second set when the Canadians came close to tying the match.
