Tourism entrepreneur and founder of the Punta Cana Group, Frank Rainieri, participated in a meeting between the president of the Dominican Automobile Federation (FDA), Adriano Abreu Sued, and Mohammed Ben Sulayem, president of the International Automobile Federation (FIA).
The meeting is a nod to the fact that the Punta Cana tourist destination is open to the possibility of contributing to the complementary offer of motor racing.
Abreu Sued said that as a way to strengthen the sport in the Dominican Republic, “today, within the framework of the British Formula 1 Grand Prix, we met as usual with our FIA president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, where we discussed our participation as a delegation in the FIA Games to be held in Spain in October”.
He valued the meeting with Rainieri by indicating that “the institutional steps we have taken to strengthen our institution and the need to create new speed parks for the various disciplines in different parts of the country”.
