SANTO DOMINGO – The Olympic Games of Tokyo 2020 placed the respective flags of the countries that will participate in the multi-sport event. The national patriotic symbol is located in front of the Olympic Village that Dominican athletes will use during the Olympics.
The Dominican Republic is part of the 11 countries that will go in search of the most important awards of the Olympic cycle. In addition, they will participate in 10 of the 33 sports that will compete in the capital of Japan.

The Dominican Republic will attend the Tokyo Olympic Games with a delegation of 120 people, including 66 athletes, as well as coaches, medical and administrative personnel.
This is the largest representation of the country to go to an Olympic Games and will compete in athletics, baseball, equestrian, judo, aquatics, weightlifting, taekwondo, boxing, volleyball and rowing.
