Houck (4-5) allowed a single in the third inning to Cuban Yandy Diaz and an infield hit to Josh Lowe in the seventh. He fanned five and was charged with a base on balls, which occurred when Devers was ruled to have violated defensive changeup rules for an automatic fly ball on a grounder by Mexico’s Jonathan Aranda in the second inning on a 3-2 pitch.
