With the objective of offering a unique and accessible experience to enjoy nature with family, couples or singles, Campeach RD has established itself as a network of safe and private camps in the Dominican Republic.
During an interview on the program La Mañana con Dary, its founders, Pamela Mella and Víctor de Los Santos, assured that the project seeks to offer unique experiences of connection with nature.
De los Santos said that they provide specialized attention, 365 days a year, where they obtain from the clients all the details about their needs for the realization of the camps.
They noted that Campeach RD offers camps designed for different groups, including families, singles and couples, ensuring an experience tailored to the needs of each visitor.
In addition to lodging in natural surroundings, the network provides a comprehensive service of free camping equipment rental, luxury glamping and all equipped, including sleeping items, lamps and projectors, allowing campers to enjoy their experience to the fullest.
“You can, in our establishments, have a safe, private adventure and above all, in a controlled environment,” said Pamela Mella, co-founder of the initiative.
“If we compare an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana to one of our all-inclusive camps, we would say that there would be a saving of approximately RD$20,000 pesos for a family of 4 in the same location,” said Mella.
Most of their clients are Dominicans who, after the pandemic, showed a growing interest in domestic tourism.
“The pandemic awakened in Dominicans a feeling of reconnection with where we come from, which is nature,” said Víctor de los Santos, one of the founders of the network.
Campeach RD destinations
They have 26 camps in various locations, including Samaná, Santo Domingo East, Comatillo, Puerto Plata, Hato Mayor and Punta Cana.
Samaná became one of the favorite destinations, where, despite the heat, many chose to enjoy the beaches instead of the rivers.
They also rent camping equipment to be placed anywhere the client prefers, if it is their property.
Campeach RD also became an ally for those who wanted to become entrepreneurs in the tourism sector. They offer consultancies for the creation and management of successful campsites.
“We help owners of potentially tourist land to generate extra income,” added Mella, highlighting their commitment to local entrepreneurship.
With a community of more than 75,000 followers on Instagram, Campeach RD is consolidating its position as a benchmark in the field of camping in the Dominican Republic.
They promote memorable experiences in nature for people of all ages, and become a pillar of domestic tourism.
“We are not only campsites, we are your ally to create unforgettable experiences,” concluded De los Santos and Mella.
The statements were expressed during the program La Mañana Con Dary, which is broadcast Monday through Friday from 7am to 9am, on SuperQ 100.9; UvaFM 97.3; Ruta 66; Mango TV and TV Quisqueya on Optimus 1027 (for abroad).
