Dominican Republic plans to attract 2.5 million tourists with Miami deals

Two million 500 thousand tourists will visit the Dominican Republic as a result of several agreements reached during the first “trade show” held by the Ministry of Tourism in Miami, United States.

That’s right, from the city of Miami, the Dominican Republic reaffirms itself as an example of recovery in terms of tourism in the region.

The leadership of Dominican tourism was demonstrated by the massive participation of hotel companies, airports, airlines, agencies and tour operators. This in its first TRADESHOWS or business fair.

One after the other agreements were signed, in a day that lasted more than 9 hours.

With this new form of promotion, 50 Dominican companies also made important connections.

During this fair, Tourism showed representatives of the sector in the United States, Canada and Latin America the benefits offered by the DR and its culture.

With these agreements reached to attract more than 2 million tourists, the country is approaching the goal of exceeding 7 million this year.
