Tourism continues to flow in the Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic continues to boost tourism recovery. In March, more than 400,000 international tourists have already arrived.

Official data, those of the Ministry of Tourism, from March 1 to 21, 2022, confirm the arrival of 406,627 non-resident passengers with foreign passports.

Of these, a total of 259,025 entered through Punta Cana International Airport; 85,031 did so through Las Americas International Airport; 31,873 arrived through Cibao International Airport; 22,951 through Gregorio Luperon International Airport in Puerto Plata; 3,976 through La Romana International Airport; 2,051 through El Catey and 1,889 through La Isabela.

Regarding the issuing markets, in March 2022, the United States stood out, followed by Canada and then France, Germany and Spain.
