Tourism in Every Corner arrives in Monte Plata

This weekend, the province of Monte Plata will be the stage for the popular promotional platform Tourism in Every Corner, which is successfully carried out by the Ministry of Tourism as a way to promote each of the destinations and their diversified offer.

On this occasion, Tourism in Every Corner will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the Santo Cristo de los Milagros sanctuary in the municipality of Bayaguana, one of the most emblematic cultural and religious temples in the country and a provincial brand.

The popular promotional platform will present to the participating public, its interest in promoting domestic tourism to the local market, and with it the offer that complements these tourist territories, highlighting the crafts, culture, folklore and the gastronomic and culinary roots with which each Dominican destination is represented.

This promotional platform has the involvement of the main actors in the value chain of the territory, thus promoting sustainable management and development.

Monte Plata as a tourist destination, has a number of elements that make it be considered throughout the country as the “Emerald” province because its landscapes and mountain systems are always green throughout the year, allowing visitors to explore tourist experiences in natural spas, waterfalls, caves with subway rivers and rock art.

It also has architectural monuments from the time of colonization, magical-religious and cultural traditions linked to pre-Hispanic and colonial history.
