Tourists are free to show vaccination card.

The Government, through the Ministry of Tourism, issued yesterday a resolution by which it exempts all tourists arriving in the country from presenting a vaccination card or showing the PCR, as will begin to be required of Dominicans.

“In accordance with the protocols approved by the Civil Aviation Board within the framework of its faculties, the presentation of vaccination cards will not be required for passengers arriving in the Dominican Republic,” says a recital of Resolution 0032/21 signed by Minister David Collado.

It also establishes that for entry to hotels and services offered within hotels and hotel complexes, it will not be necessary for guests to present the COVID-19 vaccination card or the negative PCR test, as established in resolution no. 00048, dated October 8, 2021, issued by Public Health, taking into consideration the application of the risk management protocols previously approved for the sector.
