ALTA welcomes a new airline: Sky High Dominicana

The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) is pleased to welcome a new airline as a full member: Sky High Dominicana.

Who is Sky High Dominicana?

Sky High Aviation Services Dominicana, S.A. is a passenger airline based in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic operating scheduled flights to Aruba (2 weekly flights), Bonaire (1 weekly flight), Curaçao (2 weekly flights), Anguilla (1 weekly flight), Antigua (1 weekly flight), St. Maarten (4 weekly flights), St. Kitts (1 weekly flight), Martinique (2 weekly flights), Guadeloupe (2 weekly flights) and Tortola (2 weekly flights).

Founded in March 2011, the airline began operating air tours within the Dominican Republic and, over the years has expanded its range of operations, becoming the first Dominican airline to offer scheduled flights to the entire Caribbean.

Today Sky High has a fleet composed exclusively of jets (50-seat Embraer-145LR) and is in the process of acquiring two 97-seat Embraer-190s, which will allow it to continue strengthening its scheduled and charter operations.

Sky High transported more than 80 thousand passengers in 2021, with a projection to surpass that mark in the current year 2022. The airline will soon start operations from Santo Domingo to Venezuela (Caracas, Valencia, Maracaibo, Margarita) and to Miami.
