Arajet merges with German distribution company Hahn Air

German distribution services company Hahn Air, which provides ticketing solutions to 100,000 travel agencies in 190 markets worldwide and includes more than 350 airlines, welcomed Arajet to its partner network.

With Hahn Air’s solutions, the airline will be able to sell flights in 190 markets, including outside its route network, the Dominican airline said in a statement.

From now on, travel agents can book Arajet flights with Hahn Air Technologies’ X1 code through the standard Arajet y la Hahn Airbooking process, and issue tickets on the HR-169 document.

In that regard, Arajet CEO Victor Pacheco reacted to the addition of the partner network and expressed that as a company they are “very happy.”

“We are happy to be part of Hahn Air, now travel agents from all over the world can book through any GDS and take advantage of our unique value offer that includes a hub in the Dominican Republic, the lowest fares and excellent service on board new aircraft,” he said.

Arajet’s director of strategy and business development, Nacim Yal, said, “We are happy to be part of Hahn Air. Now travel agents from around the world will be able to take advantage of our unique value offering that includes a strategic hub in the Dominican Republic, low fares and excellent Dominican service aboard new Boeing 737 MAX8″ aircraft.
